Internship
I am passionate about blending creativity with commerce, a trait exemplified through my internship at the Centre for Imagination (CFI) at Woodstock School. CFI is a unique space designed to foster creativity and innovation, offering a sanctuary where students can escape the rigors of academic life and let their imaginations soar. It also gave me confidence to apply what I learnt in a different commercial environment at Vanilla Moon this summer.
CFI
As a commerce intern at CFI, I play a pivotal role in managing social media and orchestrating events. My responsibilities include curating engaging content that highlights our diverse activities, promoting, and capturing the vibrant essence of our community. Through this role, I have honed my skills in digital marketing and event planning, learning to craft compelling narratives and organize successful gatherings.
Being a part of CFI provided a bridge between my academic interests with real-world applications. I found myself thriving In this dynamic environment. I was able to foster a culture of creativity while gaining invaluable experience in commerce. This internship enhanced my professional skills and simultaneously deepened my appreciation for the transformative power of imagination and innovation in education.
Vanilla Moon
I had the opportunity to intern with Vanilla Moon, a fashion shoe brand, where I helped with social media content. This involved visiting their stores, factory, and offices, attending photoshoots, and gaining insight into their shoe-making process. This experience provided me with a deeper understanding of how shoe businesses operate, including production, marketing, and targeting specific audiences, especially from a fashion perspective—an area I’m keen on exploring. I played an integral role in their Raksha Bandhan promotion, an Indian celebration of sibling bonds, where I created the tagline “Ties of a Lifetime.” This involved selecting shoes that matched the theme and creating content in various locations with different outfits. This internship provided me with valuable skills such as communication, time management, and practical industry knowledge. I learned a great deal about working with others, solving problems, and, most importantly, maintaining a willingness to learn.
