My journey with kathak began at the age of eight. I was profoundly influenced by my mother, a professional Kathak dancer. Watching her perform with utmost grace and passion ignited my fascination for this art form. Her dedication and artistry served as powerful inspiration to embrace the dance form and delve into its rich traditions.
Over the years, I have trained rigorously , participating in numerous stage performances. I have honed my skills and deepened my appreciation for this dance form.
My passion and love for the dance led to me undertaking formal examinations in keeping with my commitment and proficiency. Kathak is not merely a dance – For me , it is a form of expression allowing me to connect with my cultural heritage and convey emotions that transcend words.
Performing fills me with unparalleled fulfilment and joy. It also provides a creative outlet that and balances out my life wonderfully . It has instilled in me discipline, perseverance and a deep love for the arts. These are qualities that I draw upon for time to come .
